RoHS Directive
As of July 1st 2006 it is mandatory that all manufacturers meet the European Union's RoHS Directive. All manufacturers will be liable for the presence of hazardous substances in their products. Electrical or electronic equipment containing Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr6, PBBs and PBDEs will be affected. At ECMG we can ensure your product will be within the limits of the hazardous materials and not slow down entry into your desired market.
WEEE Registration
The purpose of this directive is the prevention of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). In addition to the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such wastes so as to reduce the disposal of waste. Manufacturers will need to register with each member nation, the quantities and categories of electrical and electronic equipment they put into each market. ECMG has the capabilities to help you along with this process. |
